From his beginnings with the national orchestra of Lorraine, his interest in chamber music led him to play in various ensembles.
It was in 1990 the Rolla duet with his violinist collegue Daniel Hue, then from 1992 to 1996 the Leonore string trio
(with Odile and Françoise Folschweiller).
He became part of the Melodia string quartet in 1997 with which he played numerous concerts, mainly in the Lorraine area,
and also recorded the film music from Des enfants qui s'aiment , a Gilles Volta movie, composed by François Narboni.
Today this quartet is : Carole and Philippe Bruère (violins), Alain Celo (viola), Klàra Nagy-Egloff (cello).
He also played with violinist Marie-Annick Nicolas in a public show at the Fnac (CD and book shop) in Metz, april 1996,
and created himself his own composition for viola and live electronics Bleus azur while an open door festival at the Arsenal of Metz, september 2004.
As a regular member of the Ensemble Stravinsky since its beginnings in 2001, he performs many concerts of XXth and XXIst century music each year, as far as a viola part is requested.
During 2007, he also performed two concerts with the salon de musique.
Beside the various records of the National Orchestra of Lorraine, he has taken part in the François Narboni CD Les Animals .
He plays a 1989 Régis Hautin viola (made in Lille) and a 1996 Christophe Schaeffer bow.
